GARDENING WORKSHOP & SEED SWAP

 

Join your neighbours and our guests from the Edmonton Horticultural Society for our 2nd annual information session! This year we will talk about mixing food and flowers throughout your garden! Whether you already have a green thumb or are just starting out, be prepared to pick up lots of helpful tips and ideas to get your gardens started this year! There will be time at the end of the presentation to ask questions! We are also going to incorporate a seed swap into this year’s event. If you have an abundance of leftover seeds at home that you wish to share or trade, please bring them along!

 

Topics will include:

• how to mix flowers with your vegetable gardens

• the importance of attracting pollinators and keeping soil covered

• planting shade and other types of gardens
