An Engaged and Inclusive Community
The money we receive from a casino helps to keep our programming costs low, the ice rink maintained, the hall lights and heat on, NYE fireworks, trivia nights, our summer beer garden, and many more. We only get a casino every two years so we don't ask for the community’s help often, each volunteer shift is the equivalent of a $2,000 donation. We’re down to just a couple of weeks to get all of the positions filled. If we don’t have enough volunteers then we may have to cancel the casino and lose the money.

Casino Position Highlights
Chip Runner
Would you like to spend your volunteer hours reading a book, watching a movie, chatting with a friend? The Chip Runner Position is for you!
You deliver casino chips to the casino table games.
You are not usually too busy except at the opening and closing of the casino day.
There is a lot of downtime.
We have 3 chip runner positions to fill.
2 spots on Friday, March 6 from 6:30pm-3:15am (sign up and bring a friend!)
1 spot on Saturday March 6 from 6:30pm-3:15am
Countroom
ou sort, count and verify cash from drop boxes.
Two of these positions involve using money counting machines.
You will count the money twice during your shift, the rest of the time is downtime.
We have 2 countroom positions available for Saturday, March 7 from 10:45-3:30.
It's our shortest night position.
Bring a friend and help your community
Banker
You control the main Cash Cage floats of chips and cash, and are assisted directly by the Cash Cage Advisor. You provide cash to cashiers as needed, and redeem chips from cashiers as needed. You use a computer terminal for all transactions. You sit in the cash cage with the cashiers and general manager. Lots of time for meeting neighbors.
No need to worry about making mistakes as the Advisor will supervise everything.
We have 2 banker spots available on Saturday, March 7
Shift 1: 10am - 7pm
Shift 2: 6:15pm - 3:45am
Cashier
You redeem players' chips and make change (you do not sell chips).
You will be required to follow defined payout procedures that you will learn at the casino.

General Manager
You oversee the counting of cash and chips at opening, shift change, and closing of the casino day. At the beginning of the casino day, you help the casino Games Manager with opening table games. Your role involves oversight of all functions performed in the cash cage.
You are assisted directly by the Cash Cage Advisor.
