Edmonton’s New City Plan and Zoning Bylaw Renewal Initiative
The City of Edmonton is in the process of adopting a new City Plan. See the City Council Public Hearing Minutes of Mon. September 14, 2020 at: https://pub-edmonton.escribemeetings.com/FileStream.ashx?DocumentId=58798
The City Plan sets strategic direction for the way Edmonton grows, its mobility systems, open spaces, employment, and social networks, generally touching on most aspects of life in Edmonton. More information about the new City Plan can be found by exploring the links at: https://www.edmonton.ca/city_government/city_vision_and_strategic_plan/city-plan.aspx
The New City Plan will be implemented by regulations called Zoning Bylaws, which are currently being re-written as part of the Zoning Bylaw Renewal Initiative.
