Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL) is collecting data on community preferences for managing road safety in Edmonton neighbourhoods. The results of this data will be used by the EFCL to inform a report representing all communities. The survey results will be shared with City Council and the City of Edmonton Administration as the City works to create new bylaws that may result in lower speed limits on residential and collector roads city-wide; and as the City creates a  new version of their Road Safety Strategy (2021-2025).

In preparation, the EFCL has created the attached handbook and survey. The attached handbook contains a lot of research and important information. Please take some time to read through the handbook Neighbourhood Street Safety Handbook  and complete the attached on-line survey before November 15, 2019.

The survey can be accessed by following this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/EFCLtrafficsafety

The survey results and neighbourhood-level data will be sent back to the Community Leagues by December 1st. These results will be non-identifiable/non-traceable back to individuals, but can be used by the Community Leagues to advocate for the position of their neighbourhood, if they choose.

Please feel free to share the survey widely!
